This quote means that your decisions affect where you will end up in life. Your decisions could affect your life in both a negative and a positive way. I think that everyone could relate to this quote because everyone makes some decisions they regret or some good decisions that they are proud of. Everyone has a chance to make their own decisions and to choose whether they want to do whats right or whats wrong. If a decision you make is bad the consequences would be bad is your decision is right your consequences would probably be good. An example of a bad decision is if you do drugs you could go to prison or you could die. An example of a good decision is if you do all of your homework and classwork in class you would pass the class.

He is basically saying to not give up on what you want in life. What he means by don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now is to not really focus on what you want to do at the moment but focus on what you want most. For example, if you want to go to the movies with your friends focus on what you want most before doing anything else. To achieve what you want most you have to write down what you want, That's why Peter says to write down what you want most and see it often. When you write down what you want you have to see it often to remember what you want and be motivated to achieve it. When you write down your goals and see them very often you are very likely to achieve that goal.

Columbus Day Christopher columbus is an italian explorer who was born in 1451 in the republic of Genoa, Italy. Columbus day is a US holiday that celebrates the landing of christopher columbus in “the new world” on October 12, 1492. Many people say that christopher discovered America but that is false, there were millions of people living there before he landed there. This holiday honors christopher's achievements and celebrates Italian - American heritage. Columbus day was not a holiday until president Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed it to be a holiday in 1937. People celebrate columbus day by hosting parades and fairs that have costumes, Italian food, and music. Reflection: I think Columbus day is a good holiday because it celebrates Italian-American heritage.
