"We learn to do by doing" -Spencer W. Kimball This means that we learn by doing and experiencing things ourselves. You can't learn something by just sitting down. For example, to learn to ride a bike you have to be on a bike and experience it yourself. We also need to want to learn something to learn it. If you dont want to learn it you would just give up and not try. In math class you can listen to your teacher giving the lesson and learn but in order to know you are getting it right you have to do some problems youself. There are other ways to learn like listening or reading but the best way is by doing it youself. When you do something youself you are actually learning because you make mistakes and you  learn from those mistakes. When you are learning by watching someone else do the work you would most likely not remember how it's done that's why to learn you have to do it youeself. Ear Nose Throat Doctor Duties and responsibilities: ENT doctors are often referred as an Otolaryngologist. Otolaryngologists take care of problems related to the ear, mouth, nose, throat, and neck. They investigate if the problem is an allergy because allergies recur. If patients have severe damage otolaryngologist recommend surgery. They inform their patients on what they can do to prevent those problems. Salary: $291,943- $400,295 a year Education: To be an ENT doctor you need to go to university for four years and get a undergraduate degree. You also need to go to medical school for four years and get a medical degree.You need recidency training for five years as well.

There are many oportunities for you to be succesful. They are very helpful and students should use them to make their years in school much easier. There is no way students will not be able to graduate because LAUSD gives them all they need. They got transportation to go to their school if they dont live close and they got programs where they could be more involved and where they can get help with their work if they have some problems. LAUSD wants you to be succesful and to have a good education in school. I will use these student services so i can be succesful in life.  

"Choosing the right is always the right thing to do." -Alex Linares I agree with Alex Linares that choosing the right is always the right thing to do. Even though someone tells you to do something that is wrong you should always choose the right. Sometimes people are confused and don't know if to choose the right or the wrong but you should always choose the right because when you choose the wrong you feel bad afterwards.  

Dermatologist Duties and responsibilities: Dermatologist treat conditions related to the skin. They can also treat the hair and nails. They make a healthy diet  and recommend exercise for the patient because diet and no exercise affects your skin.They teach their patients basic hygiene and nail care. salary: $88,438-$308,058 a year Education: To become a dermatologist you need an undergraduate degree from a four year college including pre-medical courses in biology, organic chemistry, physics, and general chemistry. You must also complete a four year accredited medical school.

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player" -John Wooden This quote took me a long time to understand but I think it means that it doesn't matter how wealthy or how rich you are, the only thing that matters is how you are as a person. you could be rich and be a very kind person. Most rich and wealthy people are greeedy and unhappy. The only thing that matters is if you are kind and choose what's right and if you do that good will come your way and people could also trat you kind.

"True weal th is of the heart, not of the purse." -Pathrons This quote is very true and it sends a positive message to people. This means that wealth comes from the heart and not from money. Many people want a lot of money because it would make them happy but most of the time it does the opposite. Most rich people are not happy, they are mostly depressed. They could have anything they want but they are not happy. Some rich people also do whats wrong just to get all that money. If you did have a lot of money you probably will be happy but that would only last a little. Everyone should be happy with what they have and not do what's wrong to be rich. They should spend more time with their family and have fun because that is what true wealth is about and you don't need money to be happy.    

Dental Assistant Duties and responsibilities: A dental assistant prepares the treatment room for the patient. They welcome, comfort, and seat the patient. When a dentist is treating a patient, the dental assistant passes or places  the instruments they will need for the procedure where the dentist can easily access them. They check the dental supplies inventory to see if they need more supplies and they also inform the patient on how they can take care of their teeth better. Salary: $30,824-$38,397 Education: Dental assistants have to take academic programs. They can take them in community colleges and technical or vocational schools. The program takes about a year to complete and it leads to a certificate or diploma. Demand for this profession:

They teach their patients how to take care of their oral health. Dentist also clean and repair teeth, remove teeth when necessary, and administer anesthesia when doing dental procedures. Salary: $128,784-$168,621 a year Education: Dentist have to have a doctorate degree in dental surgery or dental medicine. They also need a 1-2 year residency and be licenced in the state they want to work. Demand for this profession: doctoral or professional degree.

When you do something good it makes you feel good but when you do bad you don't feel good inside.   Everyone should do something good instead of something bad because it not only makes them feel good, it also make others feel good. Sometimes I choose to do what's wrong instead of the right thing and i feel horrible after. I  

Chiropractor Duties and responsibilities: Chiropractors help patients with problems related to bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. When a patient visits them they ask questions and do physical tests on them to find out what the problem is. Chiropractors manipulate the spine or other parts of the musculoskeletal system. They also do x-rays on patients if needed. Salary: $118,551-$192,320 a year Education: A chiropractor needs 4 years of training to be a doctor. They need two years of basic sciences and the other two years include clinical sciences. Demand for this profession:    

"The key of freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have" -Boyd k. Packer This quote means that you have more freedom when you are obedient. When you don't obey you get into trouble and are not free. When you obey, people don't have to be after you all the time to make sure you are doing what's right. An example of this quote is if you are not driving safely and not obeying the laws you would not have freedom because you would get arrested or you would be tracked to make sure you are not disobeying. This quote does not only apply to major disobedience like committing a crime or not obeying the laws. It could be very simple as not obeying your parents. probably your mom wanted you to clean your room and you didn't obey so you got punished and weren't free for the rest of the week or how long they choose to punish you.       

911 memorials In September 11 year 2001, terrorist tragically attacked the twin towers. They also attacked the world trade center and the pentagon. The terrorists hijacked planes and crashed into these buildings. The first plane left at 7:59 from Boston's Logan international airport and was heading to Los Angeles. It was american airlines flight 11 with 92 people aboard. The second plane took off at 8:14 from Boston and was also headed to Los Angeles. There were 65 people on this plane. At 8:19, flight 11 were alerted that the plane has been hijacked.      

"Obedience is the great test of life" -Thomas S. Monson There are many different types of tests in life. A lot are very important but there is one that is the most important and it is obedience. Obedience is the most important test because if you are obedient you are going to be successful.
