Dental Assistant
Duties and responsibilities:A dental assistant prepares the treatment room for the patient. They welcome, comfort, and seat the patient. When a dentist is treating a patient, the dental assistant passes or places  the instruments they will need for the procedure where the dentist can easily access them. They check the dental supplies inventory to see if they need more supplies and they also inform the patient on how they can take care of their teeth better.
Salary:$30,824-$38,397
Education: Dental assistants have to take academic programs. They can take them in community colleges and technical or vocational schools. The program takes about a year to complete and it leads to a certificate or diploma.

Columbus Day Christopher columbus is an italian explorer who was born in 1451 in the republic of Genoa, Italy. Columbus day is a US holiday that celebrates the landing of christopher columbus in “the new world” on October 12, 1492. Many people say that christopher discovered America but that is false, there were millions of people living there before he landed there. This holiday honors christopher's achievements and celebrates Italian - American heritage. Columbus day was not a holiday until president Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed it to be a holiday in 1937. People celebrate columbus day by hosting parades and fairs that have costumes, Italian food, and music. Reflection: I think Columbus day is a good holiday because it celebrates Italian-American heritage.

"Decisions Determine Destiny" -Thomas S. Monson This quote means that your decisions affect where you will end up in life. Your decisions could affect your life in both a negative and a positive way. I think that everyone could relate to this quote because everyone makes some decisions they regret or some good decisions that they are proud of. Everyone has a chance to make their own decisions and to choose whether they want to do whats right or whats wrong. If a decision you make is bad the consequences would be bad is your decision is right your consequences would probably be good. An example of a bad decision is if you do drugs you could go to prison or you could die. An example of a good decision is if you do all of your homework and classwork in class you would pass the class.
